ConfigWing wizard reference
Each wizard in ConfigWing maps directly to a section of the FortiOS CLI. Below is what each wizard produces and the FortiGate commands you can expect in the output.
Site-to-Site IPsec VPN
Generate phase1-interface and phase2-interface blocks, address objects, and an optional static route to the remote subnet.
SSL VPN
Configure tunnel-mode SSL VPN with IP pool, portal, split tunneling and user group binding.
VLAN + Interface
Create a tagged VLAN sub-interface on a physical port with IP, allowaccess and role.
Firewall Policy
Build a clean firewall policy with addresses, services, action, NAT and log profile.
NAT / Port Forward
Generate a VIP and matching firewall policy in a single config block.
SD-WAN
Define a zone, member interfaces, SLA health-check and a service rule.
DHCP Server
Bind a DHCP server to an interface with pool, mask, gateway and DNS.
HA Cluster
Active-Passive or Active-Active with heartbeat interfaces and monitored ports.
Static Route
Insert a single static route via gateway and outgoing device.
Security Hardening
Apply a baseline: admin timeout, trusted hosts, password policy, NTP and syslog.
